Either …or / neither …nor

Either …or:

When discussing two alternative options:

  • You can either pay cash or with a credit card.
  • We must have either a green passport or a red one to get a visa to America.
  • Either do your homework or read a book here.

Neither …nor:

When stating that both options are negative or neither of them:

  • Neither I nor my friends will come to your shop.
  • Neither the bosses nor the workers agreed on the list.
